Being Grateful ^^

-bismillah-

GRATITUDE - no, it's not graduation~

A is at the rooftop of a building while B is playing at the compound just in front of the building.
A tries to call B, so, A cries for B loudly. However, B doesn’t hear it. Then, A throw down a newly-introduced 20 cents coin piece and it hit straight to B’s head (haha...take that!).
B was surprised! but he is only attracted towards the shiny, golden brown newly-introduced coin. He becomes amazed and forgot to look upward to see who throws the coin...
Without giving up, A then throws a big-sized boulder which once again hits B’s head. Only now, B looks upward and realized that A was trying to call him for many times.

Assalamu3alaikum wbt. :)

Well, the situation above symbolizes the reality of us, ungrateful creations of our Creator, Allah.
Allah has granted us, humans with so many ni3mah; the ni3mah of breathing, seeing, talking, hearing, even facebook-ing :p , a normal physical body with physiologically complex with well-arranged functions...
But then, when we earn those fortunes, just a few of us, or maybe no one *na3uzubillah* will remember
Allah....

However, when Allah tests us with disaster, then only we will remember Him. How sad! How pathetic.

Actually, we have been reminded again and again to be grateful ALL THE TIME, not just SOMETIME.
Check this out -->
“Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me.” [ Al-Baqarah : 152]
“And when yout Lord made it known: If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful, My chastisement is truly severy.” [Ibrahim : 7]
“Why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe?...” [ An-Nisa’ : 147 ]
We managed to get good results, eating food that we want and earning things that we dreamed for, but does all that make us happy? Truly happy?

We often fear that what we already have is just not enough. We always want more and more and more!

Wanting a tablet pc after the smartphone,
Wanting old memories to be repeated while we have the present self..
Wanting one true companion after dozens of happy-go-lucky colleagues...
Wanting this after that..

Well, that’s just why we need to be grateful.

To whom? To Allah of course

So, express your gratitude to Allah by doing what’ve been asked and try to avoid what’ve been restricted.
:] being the real mu'minin, shouldn't we DOMErs?

What is simpler? Just say “Alhamdulillah” ^^ <- this worth as written in the Right-side Book :))
Alhamdu Lillah alaa kulli hal (:

p/s : thanks for reading. Hope this will benefit us all. Sorry for any grammar mistakes.^^
